ANTWERP SHIPPING and FORWARDING (ASF), your Pangea partner in Antwerp, has successfully collaborated on a cross-border shipment from Antwerp to Romania. The shipment involved transporting 40MC130M27 STC Machinery by road using a 40’ NOR (Non-Operating Reefer) & SOC (Shipper-Owned Container).
The machinery, weighing 5,500 kg, was carefully packed into a 40’ RHC container (12.189 x 2.60 x 2.90 meters). The shipment covered a distance of 2,000 kilometers, crossing five countries—Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Romania—demonstrating the precision and reliability of international logistics planning and execution.
As shown in the images, the sturdy, custom-equipped 40-foot container was securely fastened to a Krone chassis, ensuring safe and efficient transport.
