TOPLINE EXPRESS LOGISTICS (TEL), your Connecta partner in China, has completed the shipment of 338 cartons of e-cigarettes from China to Panama, following a project that involved coordination across multiple suppliers and compliance with strict transport requirements.
In November 2025, TEL received an inquiry from a logistics partner to handle the shipment. The cargo consisted of e-pods, e-heads, hoses, etc., produced by several Chinese suppliers in different locations. Due to the nature of the cargo, containing lithium batteries and volatile substances, the goods were classified as sensitive and required temperature control between 18°C and 25°C throughout transit.
According to TEL, the complexity of handling such cargo limited the number of logistics providers willing to take on the shipment. The company proceeded by developing a detailed transport plan and allocating a 40-foot refrigerated container (40’RF) for the move.
The operation required close coordination with multiple suppliers, with TEL maintaining frequent contact to monitor cargo readiness and ensure the completeness and accuracy of export documentation, while also providing updates to the overseas partner. TEL reported that carriers conducted very strict examinations of shipping documents for e-cigarettes, and several issues related to the conformity and validity of export documents required adjustments to the operational plan to meet compliance standards.
Export formalities were completed on January 27, 2026, and the cargo was exported from Yantian, Shenzhen, and arrived safely in Panama on February 23, 2026.
The project reflects TOPLINE EXPRESS LOGISTICS’ capacity to manage shipments involving regulated goods, particularly those requiring controlled conditions and multi-party coordination.
