CONNECTA Airfreight Network will celebrate its 1st Annual Conference in Abu Dhabi
The members of this global network of independent Airfreight forwarders will meet in Abu Dhabi from 17th-19th October
CONNECTA Airfreight Network, global network of independent air freight forwarders, announces that inscriptions are open for attending the 1st Annual Conference, which will take place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on 17th, 18th and 19th October.
The CONNECTA Annual Meeting will be celebrated along with the 5th Annual Meeting of the group sister network, PANGEA LOGISTICS NETWORK. More than 300 independent freight forwarders from 95 countries that belong to these leading transport networks are invited to participate.
The choice of Abu Dhabi responds to the excellent perspectives of growth and development of this country, direct connections to main international airports and premier tourist destination in the world. This strategic location will also encourage the attendance of Connecta and Pangea members worldwide. For this reason, it is foreseen that the participation registered at the previous conference celebrated in Barcelona (Spain) and which closed with a high degree of satisfaction on the part of the participants will be surpassed.
The Annual Conference is the main event that Connecta organises and offers a unique chance to strengthen links between network members, to promote their companies, to establish new business contacts and to explore business synergies by making the most of the presence of independent freight forwarders from all over the world. Over the three days, the attendees will enjoy an intense programme of activities that combine working sessions with the networking opportunities at various informal events. The group activities are also alternated with face to face contacts between the forwarders who wish to impulse their collaboration within the network.
The event will take place at the incomparable InterContinental Abu Dhabi hotel, a luxury five star hotel, with a Private Beach and Marina overlooking the Arabian Gulf on one side and the city of Abu Dhabi on the other. The hotel is centrally located close to the famous Corniche, beachfront leisure and the best shopping Marina mall, making the hotel the perfect venue for meetings and events.
